Ingredients:

• 1/4 bunch – Mint leaves
• 1/2 bunch – coriander
• 1-inch piece Ginger
• 5 to 6 flakes – Garlic
• 5 nos. – Green chillies
• 2 cups – basmati Rice
• 3 nos. – Onion
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 4 cups – water
• corn, Paneer – optional
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind the ingredients to a fine paste. Keep aside.
  2. Take basmati rice, wash and keep aside.
  3. Cut 3 big size onions length wise and now heat 2 tbsp ghee in a kadai
  4. Add jeera to it.
  5. Once jeera becomes brown, add chutney and roast for 3-4 mins.
  6. Add rice and also roast for 2 mins. Now add 4 cups of water and put in rice cooker.
  7. Stir occasionally .You can add corn and paneer to it.
  8. Add salt as required.
  9. Serve with boondi raita, vegetable raita, and papad.
