Ingredients:
• 500 gms – minced Meat
• 1 large – onion, finely chopped
• 4 Cloves – garlic, minced
• 3 cm piece – ginger, finely grated
• salt to taste
• 2-3 – Green chilli peppers, chopped
• 2 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• 3 tbsp – cooking oil
• 2 – large tomatoes, chopped
• 1/2 cup – water, chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing.
• For Seasoning: 3 – Green chilli peppers
• 2 – small Cinnamon sticks
• 5 – Cloves
• 2 – Cardamom pods
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – cumin seeds.
Method:
- Combine the keema, half of the chopped onions, half of the garlic, half of the ginger, salt green chilli peppers and chopped coriander leaves and mix them well.
- Make small balls of the above mixture.
- Place the meat balls in a shallow dish cover and microwave on high flame for 2 to 4 mins.
- Place the rest of onions ginger and garlic in a deep casserole, add oil and all the seasonings.
- Cover and microwave on high flame for 4 to 6 mins.
- Add water to it and mix well.
- Add meat balls and microwave on medium flame for 13 to 15 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with boiled rice or naan.
