Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – chicken, cut into 1.5 inch pieces
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 5 green chillies, slit
• 2 onions, diced
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 2 tbsp – fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and saute till they begin turn slightly brown.
  2. Add green chillies and onions and saute till golden brown.
  3. Add chicken and stir.
  4. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes or till done.
  6. Add lemon juice, coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix.
  7. Serve hot with rotis.
