Ingredients:

• 2 – raw mangoes
• A little Asafoetida
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 3 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2-3 tbsp – gingili oil
• 1/2 tsp – Methi seeds
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Dry roast methi and powder it.
  2. Cut the mangoes into very small squares.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Season with mustard seeds.
  5. Add the mango pieces, turmeric powder and salt and cook for a while.
  6. Add chilli powder and cook till the oil separates.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat.
  8. Add methi powder and asafoetida to the cooked mangoes and mix well.
  9. Preserve in an airtight container after it becomes cool.
  10. This can be served immediately.
  11. This will last for 2-3 days.
