Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Ragi flour
• 1 cup- Mixed vegetable
• 1 Onion chopped
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 tsp- Mustard Seeds
• 4s Dry Red Chillies ( pieces)
• Salt
• Oil

Method:

  1. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadai.
  2. Add mustard and dry chilli pieces and fry them until they crackle.
  3. Add chopped onion with some salt. (This helps the onion to turn translucent very easily).
  4. Add the mixed vegetable to the onion and cook with garam masala powder and salt.
  5. Put off the stove once the vegetables are tender.
  6. In another pan, dry roast the ragi flour separately for a few minutes.
  7. Add both ragi flour and spiced vegetables in a large bowl.
  8. Sprinkle some water and knead it into a dough.
  9. Take small balls from the dough and form into rolls.
  10. Heat water in an idli cooker and arrange the ragi veggie rolls in a greased idli plate.
  11. Steam cook for 8-10 minutes.
  12. Serve hot as a snack or as breakfast with any choice of chutneys or any spicy gravies.
