Ingredients:

• 200 gms – white bread
• 1 cup – Milk
• 3 tbsp – Sugar
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 tbsp – Almonds
• A few Plums
• 1 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• A pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Remove the crust and soak the bread in milk for 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, wash the plums.
  3. Peel the almonds and cut into slices.
  4. Mix sugar with the soaked bread and mash well.
  5. Add the plums, almond slices, nutmeg powder, salt and butter and mix well.
  6. Grease a bowl and pour the mixture into it.
  7. Steam for an hour in a flat pressure cooker.
  8. Cool and serve with pudding sauce.
