
Ingredients:
• Poha ( thick variety) – 1 cup
• Tamarind paste – 1 tsp
• Sugar – 1tsp
• Haldi powder – 1/2 tsp
• salt to taste
• For Tadka:
• groundnuts – 1 tbsp
• mustard – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Chana dal – 1 tsp
• oil – 2 tbsp
• few Curry leaves
• To Garnish:
• grated Coconut – 1tbsp
Method:
- Clean poha and coarsely powder in a mixer. Add tamarind paste, haldi powder, sugar and salt to taste. Mix well with little water.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add urad dal, chana dal, peanuts, curry leaves and fry till dal and peanuts are golden brown.
- Add poha mix and fry well . Serve hot garnished with grated coconut.
