
Ingredients:
• 500 g – minced Meat
• 250 g chopped, small Methi leaves
• diced Onions
• 1/4tsp – Turmeric
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli paste
• 1tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1tsp – coriander powder
• 1-2 Green chillies
Method:
- Clean the minced meat
- Ensure that all the water is drained out completely, if not the koftas might split.
- Once the water from the meat is drained out completely squeeze the meat and form small balls of them and keep it in the fridge for about 15-20 mins.
- In a pan heat the oil, add onions fry a bit.
- Then add methi leaves and fry until the oil separates and the onions turn golden brown.
- To this add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, green chillies and saute for about 5 mins.
- Then add some water if a gravy is required.
- Once a thick gravy is formed, add the koftas and cover the pan with a lid.
- Do not use a spoon or spatula as the koftas might break, keep tossing the pan.
- Cook until the meat is tender.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
