
Ingredients:
• 100 gms – boiled and cooled Rice
• 200 gms – boiled Milk
• 2 tbsp – Sugar (6 tsps)
• 2 – eggs
• 1/4 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1 pinch – salt
• 1 tbsp – Raisins
• 1/2 tsp – Butter (to grease baking dish)
Method:
- Separate egg yolks and white.
- Gently beat egg white until stiff froth. Keep aside.
- Gently beat egg yolks. Keep aside.
- Grease a baking dish with 1/2 tsp butter.
- Preheat oven at 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
- In a wide bowl, mix the rice with the milk, sugar, salt, nutmeg powder, and beaten egg yolks.
- Finally, stir in the beaten egg white. Sprinkle raisins.
- Pour the mixture into a well-greased baking dish and bake at 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F for 30 – 35 minutes or until the mixture leaves from the sides of the pan and golden colour.
- Keep aside to cool for 15 minutes and serve.
