Ingredients:

• 4 cups – Milk
• 1 – vanilla pod
• 1 inch stick – Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 4 tsp – cocoa powder
• 1 cup – dark chocolate, grated
• 3 drops – vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Heat two cups of milk in a deep pan.
  2. Add vanilla pod and cinnamon stick and bring it to a boil.
  3. Lower the heat and let it simmer, stirring continuously, till it reduces slightly.
  4. Pour the remaining milk into the frothing machine.
  5. Add one tbsp sugar, two tsps of cocoa powder, half the dark chocolate and vanilla essence.
  6. Switch it on.
  7. Add the remaining sugar to the pan along with remaining cocoa powder and stir.
  8. Add the remaining dark chocolate and mix.
  9. Line a strainer with muslin cloth and strain the milk into the serving cups.
  10. Pour the milk from the frothing machine into some more serving cups.
  11. Serve hot.
