Ingredients:

• Potatoes – 1
• Peas – 1/2 cup
• Tomatoes – 1, chopped
• Green chilli – 1, chopped
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• Lime juice – 1 tsp
• Plain flour – 1 cup
• Oil
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
• Onion -1
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pressure cook potato and peas.
  2. Wash and cut tomato and onion in thin slices.
  3. Make a dough with plain flour, using little oil and a pinch of salt. Keep aside.
  4. In a kadai, fry onion till it turns brown.
  5. Add tomato and fry for few minutes.
  6. Mash potato and peas, add it to the onion-tomato mix.
  7. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, jeera, lime juice and mix well.
  8. Make roti using the dough and put a 2 tsp of the mixture, vertically, in the middle.
  9. Roll and close both ends.
  10. Cut into 3 inch pieces.
  11. Deep-fry in oil for few minutes.
  12. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
