Ingredients:

• 3 cups – flour
• 2 tsps – baking powder
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1 cup – Butter
• 1 – Egg
• 1 cup Milk

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Rub or cut butter into the mixture.
  3. Add raisins and stir to mix well.
  4. Beat the egg with the milk and add to the flour mixture. Mix well.
  5. Turn on to floured board, roll or pat til dough is of 3/4 inch thickness. Use a floured knife to cut into triangles.
  6. Place them on a greased baking tray and bake for around 20 mins, until golden.
