
Ingredients:
• Tamarind, a small ball
• 5 pods – Garlic
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1 – Tomato
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves
• Curry leaves
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 250 ml – water
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 1 or 2 – Red Chillies
Method:
- Grind garlic, cumin, black pepper, tomato and turmeric powder in a mixer and keep aside.
- Pour water in a pan and add tamarind; boil for a few minutes and then add above ground ingredients.
- Add salt, coriander and curry leaves.
- Heat oil in a kadai, season by adding mustard and red chillies.
- Serve hot with steaming rice.
