
Ingredients:
• 5 slices – Bread (sandwich bread)
• 3 big or 4 medium – Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
• 5 – Chillies, chopped finely
• 1/2 inch – Ginger (paste)
• 1 big or 2 medium – Garlic (paste)
• Coriander – finely chopped
• 20-25 – Peanuts (Kacha Singdhana), soaked in cold water for 1/2 hour
• 3/4 tbsp – Sooji
• 1/2 tbsp – Chilli powder
• 1/2 tbsp – Coriander-Cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – Chaat Masala
• Salt as per taste
• Oil as per requirement
• 1/2 cup – Water
Method:
- Mash the potatoes and put in a bowl.
- Lightly soak bread in water, squeeze the water out thoroughly and put in the bowl.
- Remove the peanut shells, separate in 2 halves and put in the bowl.
- Mix all the listed ingredients into a dough.
- Take little pieces from the dough and form cylindrical shaped rolls. Flatten the cutlet rolls by hand.
- Take a frying pan. Add 3 to 4 tbsps of oil each time you fry the cutlets.
- Fry the cutlets well on both sides, till golden brown. Drain.
- Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
