Ingredients:

• 1 – 8 oz packet of firm Tofu
• 2 tbsp – fresh Curd
• 3 – big Tomatoes
• 3 – onion, thinly sliced
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – crushed coriander & cumin powder
• 1.5 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tbsp – Haldi powder
• 1/4 cup – fresh Cream
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 4 tbsp – Ghee
• salt
• For Frying: Ghee
• Fresh thinly cut Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Cut Tofu in to finger-length sizes and fry it in ghee until it is a little brown.
  2. Spread curd on fried Tofu.
  3. Put tomatoes in warm water for 5 minutes & then cut it roughly.
  4. Heat the pan and put ghee in it. Put onions and saute till it become transparent.
  5. Add garam masala, coriander & cumin powder, red chilli powder, haldi & salt.
  6. Saute for one minute.
  7. Add tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes or until ghee leaves the sides of pan.
  8. Add one cup of water and cream.
  9. Leave it on a slow fire for some time and then add butter .
  10. Add Tofu in it and leave it for 2 minutes.
  11. Remove from the fire and decorate with fresh coriander leaves.
