Ingredients:
• 500 g-basmati Rice
• 100 g- Ghee
• Bay Leaves and Garam Masala to taste
• 2 tbsp each- ginger, Garlic and chilli paste
• 1 cup- yogurt or Curd
• 1 cup- chopped Mint leaves
• salt
• 1 bunch-mint leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Soak rice in water for an hour and then drain. Put a wok on fire and add ghee.
- When hot add bay leaves and garam masala.
- Add ginger, garlic and chilli paste and simmer.
- Add mint leaves, salt, water and the rice.
- When the water starts boiling, lower the flame and let the water dry.
- Take out of fire. Garnish with chopped mint leaves and serve hot.
