Ingredients:
• Besan (gram flour) 1 Cup
• Tomato (Mid sized) 2
• Onion (Mid sized) 1
• Green chilli 1
• Ajwan or carom seeds 1/4 tsp
• Ginger
• Coriander leaves (cilantro)
• Oil as needed
• Salt, Red Chilli powder to taste
Method:
- Grind tomato and ginger to a paste. Cut the onions into fine pieces.
- Make a paste of besan and mix it with tomato and ginger paste. Add chilli, coriander and half of the chopped onion to it.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and ajwain seeds and mix it well.
- Heat a non-stick pan and apply some oil (around 1/2 tsp for each) to it. Pour around 2 serving spoon paste on the pan, spread it evenly and spread some onions on top of it. Now let it cook and after 3-4 mins change the side. After cooking for another 2 mins it is ready to serve.
- Serve it with butter, ketchup and tasty salt (optional). Goes great as sandwich stuffing also.
