Ingredients:

• 6 – 7 – arvi, pieces
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 – 3 tsp – Dhania powder (coriander powder)
• 2 tsp – lal mirch (red pepper powder)
• 2 tsp – Haldi powder (turmeric powder)
• 2 tsp – Aamchur powder (dried Mango powder)
• salt

Method:

  1. Boil or pressure cook the arvi until it’s soft yet not very supple.
  2. Peel off the skin of the arvi and fry them with hot oil.
  3. In a separate vessel, add some oil, dhania powder, lal mirch powder, salt, haldi powder and a little amchur powder or dried mango powder.
  4. When the arvi is fried, add them to the masala and fry them on slow heat for 5 – 7 minutes until the masala is nicely coated over the arvi.
