Ingredients:
• Potatoes – 2.
• Frozen peas – 1/2 cup.
• Red dry chillies – 2 deseeded.
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp.
• Coriander powder – 2 tsp.
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp.
• Ginger finely chopped – 1/2 tsp.
• Onion – 1.
• Tomato – 2.
• oil – 3 tsp.
• Curry leaves – a few.
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Cut potatoes into cubes and half cook in a cup of water with little turmeric. Save the stock.
- Cut onions, tomatoes, red chillies and ginger.
- In a pan heat 3 tsp oil, splutter mustard and add red chillies, curry leaves and finely cut ginger and fry till ginger turns golden brown.
- Add onions, fry till golden brown.
- Now add half cooked potatoes, chopped tomatoes and fry for few seconds.
- Now add coriander powder, chilli powder and add potatoes water, salt and peas and boil till done.
