Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – button mushrooms,
• 2 – Onions chopped finely,
• few Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Ginger and Garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 – medium size tomatoes, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and cut mushrooms into thin round shapes.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard.
- When they splutter add curry leaves and onions and fry till they turn golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
- Now add mushrooms and mix well.
- Cook on low heat for a few minutes till the mushrooms are cooked.
- Care should be taken not to overcook or they will get smashed.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice or chapattis.
