
Ingredients:
• Urad Dal – 1 cup
• Sago – 1/2 cup
• Salt to taste
• Green chillies – 3
• Ginger – a little
• Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
• Oil
Method:
- Wash and soak urad dal for 2 hours, and the sago for an hour.
- Grind urad dal with salt to a thick batter.
- To the urad dal batter, add chopped chillies, ginger, curry leaves.
- Squeeze out the water from sago and mix it with the batter.
- Heat oil in a pan, make small balls of the thick batter and flatten it, make a hole in the middle and deep fry it.
- Serve hot with any spicy chutney or ketchup.
