Ingredients:
• 250 g- Sprouted Moong
• 2 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 150 g- Finely chopped Onions
• Milk of 1 Coconut (Freshly made)
• 4 tsp – Tamarind pulp (thick)
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Oil as needed
Method:
- Peel the sprouted moong.
- Mix the moong, garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and onion together in a bowl.
- Do not add salt.
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Add the mixture and saute on a low flame, till the moong softens; but do not cook completely.
- Now, add the coconut milk, tamarind pulp and salt.
- Bring to boil and cook the moong fully.
- Add coriander and bring to boil for another two minutes.
- Serve hot with chapattis and rice.
