Ingredients:
• Tiny pieces of bread crust – 1 cup
• Besan (chickpeas flour) – 6 tbsp
• Rice flour – 2 tbsp
• Butter – 2 tbsp
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Thymol (ajwain) seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves – 2 tsp, minced
• Onion – 1/2 cup, minced
• Oil to deep fry
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients together except the oil. Add enough water to form a thick paste.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- With moist fingers, pick up tiny lumps of the bread mixture and drop in moderately hot oil.
- Fry till the pakodis are golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup.
