Ingredients:
• 2 cups – chopped mixed vegetables such as beans, carrots, peas, cabbage, Cauliflower
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 tbsp – plain flour
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 6 cups – water
• Salt and pepper to taste.
Method:
- Boil the vegetables in water on medium heat for about 6 mins or till tender.
- Heat butter in a pan and saute the onions till transparent.
- Add the flour and milk. Stir well.
- Now add the vegetables and water.
- Mix well and simmer on medium heat for about 5 or 6 mins.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot with croutons.
