
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Mutton
• 500 gms – curds
• 12 – Onions
• 3 tbsp – cooking oil
• 1 kg – Rice
• 4 tbsp – Ghee
• To grind:
• 6 – chillies
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 3 stick – Cinnamon
• 2.5 tbsp – coriander
• 10 – chillies
• 3 pods – Garlic
• 1-inch piece – Ginger
• 12 – pepper Corns
• 12 – Cloves
Method:
- Chop the meat into medium-size pieces and mix with curds and ground masala and marinate for half an hour.
- Slice 12 onions and saute till light brown.
- Half boil the rice and strain.
- In a big vessel, place the fried onions and sprinkle fresh ghee.
- Now add mutton and then the rice.
- Make similar layers till everything is used.
- Seal the top of the vessel with foil and cook on slow fire till done.
