Ingredients:
• Chicken legs – 500 g (cleaned)
• Onions – 4 (medium)
• Garlic – 2 bulbs (peeled and ground to paste)
• Ginger – 2 inch (paste form)
• Garam Masala – 2 tsp
• chilly (green) – 3
• black pepper – 3 tsp (freshly powdered)
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• salt to taste
• Curry leaves
Method:
- Chop onions, garlic, ginger, chopped green chillies. Lightly fry in oil with mustard and curry leaves.
- Add salt, garam masala and pepper powder.
- Make a paste in a grinder.
- Score the chicken legs and rub them with the paste. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a flat kadai and fry chicken legs at simmer till light brown.
- Garnish with onion rings and serve
