
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – raw Jackfruit pieces
• 4 tbsp – ground coconut/paste
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Garlic and Ginger paste
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 Onions sliced
• 2 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste
• 2 – Cloves
• 1 piece – Cinnamon
Method:
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute onions, cloves and cinnamon for a few minutes.
- Add tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste and fry for a few minutes.
- Now add all the other ingredients along with the raw jack fruit pieces and 3 cups of water and mix well.
- Pressure cook for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot with plain rice or chapattis.
