Ingredients:

• Basmati Rice – 1/2 kg
• Chicken boneless – 1/2 kg
• Ginger – 1 tbsp
• Garlic – 1 tbsp
• Onion – 1 chopped
• Capsicum – 1 chopped
• Yogurt – 1/2 cup
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp
• Bay Leaf – 2
• Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Raisin – 1/2 cup
• 1/2 cup – oil
• Yellow food colour – 1 pinch
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil the rice with salt and bay leaf.
  2. Mix all masalas in yogurt and marinate chicken with it.
  3. Heat oil, fry onion.
  4. Then add chicken and cook till done or dry.
  5. Shred the meat.
  6. In a pan, layer rice and raisins with chicken, colour and capsicum.
  7. Return to heat and cook covered for 10 minutes
  8. Serve hot with raitha.
