Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Aval
• 3 – Onion
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 handful – coriander leaves, chopped
• 4 – Potatoes
• Oil to deep fry
• 1 tbsp – Maida
• Salt as needed

Method:

  1. Cut the onions, finely.
  2. In a big bowl, add poha, onions, salt red chilli powder, maida and coriander leaves. Mix it well and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  3. Meanwhile boil the potatoes for 5 whistles, peel, mash, cool and mix it well with the poha mixture.
  4. Make it into small balls tightly without adding water.
  5. Deep fry the pakodas till it turns golden brown.
  6. Serve hot
