Ingredients:

• Corn flour – 2 tsp
• Milk – 1 liter
• condensed Milk – 1 cup
• eggs – 3 large
• Egg yolks – 3
• Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
• grated Nutmeg – 1 big pinch
• vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
• rose essence few drops
• Pistachio nuts – 1 tbsp
• Almonds – 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix corn flour with 1/2 cup of milk.
  2. Combine remaining milk with condensed milk and simmer till the mixture is reduced to its volume.
  3. Add the corn flour mixture and simmer for 5 more minutes.
  4. Cool till it is just warm.
  5. Beat the eggs with yolks lightly.
  6. Add cardamom and nutmeg powders and both the essences.
  7. Pour the milk mixture on eggs.
  8. Pour this in a baking dish and bake in a mode oven (170degrees centigrade).
  9. Meanwhile blanch and slice the nuts.
  10. When the custard is partially set, sprinkle nuts on top.
  11. Continue to bake till the custard is set.
  12. Cool the custard and keep in refrigerator.
  13. Serve chilled.
