Ingredients:
• Corn flour – 2 tsp
• Milk – 1 liter
• condensed Milk – 1 cup
• eggs – 3 large
• Egg yolks – 3
• Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
• grated Nutmeg – 1 big pinch
• vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
• rose essence few drops
• Pistachio nuts – 1 tbsp
• Almonds – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Mix corn flour with 1/2 cup of milk.
- Combine remaining milk with condensed milk and simmer till the mixture is reduced to its volume.
- Add the corn flour mixture and simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Cool till it is just warm.
- Beat the eggs with yolks lightly.
- Add cardamom and nutmeg powders and both the essences.
- Pour the milk mixture on eggs.
- Pour this in a baking dish and bake in a mode oven (170degrees centigrade).
- Meanwhile blanch and slice the nuts.
- When the custard is partially set, sprinkle nuts on top.
- Continue to bake till the custard is set.
- Cool the custard and keep in refrigerator.
- Serve chilled.
