Ingredients:
• 4 – Raw bananas
• 1/4 cup – boiled peas
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 – green chilli, chopped finely
• 1 tbsp – chopped Tomato
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/4 tsp – Amchoor powder
• 4-5 – Curry leaves
• Salt as per taste
• 1 tbsp – sesame seeds
• 6 – bread slices
Method:
- Pressure cook bananas with skins for 1 whistle (or boil till tender).
- Cool a little, peel, grate and keep aside
- Mash the peas
- Heat oil and add mustard seeds and let it splutter
- Add curry leaves, red chillies and grated bananas
- Add green chillies, peas, tomatoes, turmeric powder, garam masala, amchoor powder and salt
- Mix it well
- Take from fire and let it cool
- Make six portions of the mixture
- Butter each bread slice on both sides
- Spread one portion of mixture on one slice
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds
- Repeat for all the slices
- Bake in hot oven at 220 degrees C for 5-6 minutes or till toasts are crisp
- Cut each slice into half, before serving.
- Serve hot with ketchup and crushed paprika
