Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Maida
• 1 tbsp – besan
• 1 – Plantain
• 1 tsp – baking soda
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 cup – Curd
• 1 tsp – salt
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Seive maida and besan.
- Mash plantain with curd, salt, sugar and baking soda in a bowl.
- Add the flour and little water to make into a soft dough.
- Apply a little oil and keep the dough covered for 6 hours.
- Shape portions of the dough into lime sized balls and flatten them into thick puris.
- Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
- Buns can be eaten plain or with any gravy.
