Ingredients:

• 100 gms – dry fish (any)
• 1 – Brinjal (large)
• 2 – Onions (grated)
• 3 tbsp – ginger-garlic-dry Red Chilli paste
• Mustard oil
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Salt

Method:

  1. Keep the dry fish in hot water for half hour, drain the water and keep the fish aside.
  2. Cut the brinjal lengthwise to thin pieces.
  3. Heat mustard oil, add onion and fry till golden brown.
  4. Add salt and turmeric powder, mix.
  5. Add brinjal and mix well.
  6. When the brinjal starts to melt, add dry fish and the ginger-garlic-dry red chilli paste. Mix well again.
  7. Cook on low flame until done.
  8. Serve with rice.
