Ingredients:

• besan (gram flour) – 5 to 6 tbsp
• Onions – 3/4 ( finely chopped)
• Tomato – 1
• Green chillies – 1
• Jeera – 2 tsp
• mustard – 1 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – to taste
• 2 cups – water
• Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a sauce pan. Then add mustard, jeera and green chillies.
  2. Add the cut onions and fry until they turn brown.
  3. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and fry for few minutes.
  4. Then add salt and red chilli powder (if necessary).
  5. Finally add the besan mixed with water.
  6. Boil until it thickens.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  8. Goes well with rotis or pooris.
