
Ingredients:
• 1.75 cups – flour (preferably enriched flour)
• 3/4 cup – Milk
• 1/3 cup – salad oil/shortening
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 – Egg
• 2.5 tsp – baking powder
• 3/4 tsp – salt
Method:
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.
- Make a well in the centre, combine egg, milk and salad oil.
- Mix quickly, till the dry ingredients are moistened.
- Grease a muffin pan and fill 2/3rd with the batter.
- Bake at 200 degrees C for about 25 minutes.
