Ingredients:

• For bread bhajiya:
• 4 slices – bread (cut into neat slices)
• 100 g – gram flour
• 1/8 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – green chillies, minced
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, minced
• 1 pinch – soda bicarbonate
• salt
• ketchup mixed with green chutney
• For green chutney:
• 1 cup – Coriander leaves
• 1/4 cup – Mint leaves
• 1/4 cup – grated green Mango
• 1/4 tsp – grated Ginger
• 1 – onion, medium finely sliced
• 1 – Green chilli
• 50 g – ganthia
• Salt

Method:

  1. For bread bhajiya: Make a sandwich of two squares of bread with a spread of ketchup and green chutney.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients with enough water to form a batter of medium consistency.
  3. Dip square sandwiches one by one in batter and deep fry to a golden colour, drain and serve hot.
  4. For green Chutney:
  5. Grind all the green chutney ingredients to a paste.
