Ingredients:

• Kofta:
• 4-5 – slices of Bread
• 2 – medium Potatoes
• To taste – salt, garam masala, Lemon juice
• For Gravy:
• 2 – Tomatoes or Tomato puree
• 1 – Onion
• 3-4 – Cloves of garlic,
• 2 – green chillies, small piece of Ginger
• To taste – salt, Turmeric powder, chilli powder, Garam Masala and some heavy Cream (optional)

Method:

  1. To prepare kofta:
  2. Boil the potatoes and mash it. Wet the bread slice with some water and mix it with the potatoes. Add salt, garam masala and little lemon juice.
  3. Shape them into ovals or round shape. Then deep fry it in the oil and keep it aside.
  4. For gravy:
  5. Heat some oil in a pan add chopped onion, garlic, green chillies and ginger in the oil, fry it until brown.
  6. Then add the cut tomato pieces or tomato puree it. Let it cook for a while.
  7. Then add all masalas with some water and boil the gravy for a while.
  8. Add the kofta to the gravy 5 minutes before serving. Top with cream
