Ingredients:
• A bunch – broccolettes
• 1 – Onion
• A small piece – Ginger
• A pinch – Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 1 tsp – Tamarind pulp
• A pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 6 – dry Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – oil
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, broccolette pieces, onion, ginger, red chillies and saute well.
- Add turmeric, black pepper, asafoetida, coriander powder and fry well.
- When the vegetables become tender, turn off the flame and leave for some time until they cool down.
- Later blend the mixture along with tamarind pulp and salt.
- Grind the contents to a smooth paste by adding very little water.
