Ingredients:

• A bunch – broccolettes
• 1 – Onion
• A small piece – Ginger
• A pinch – Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 1 tsp – Tamarind pulp
• A pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 6 – dry Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – oil
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, broccolette pieces, onion, ginger, red chillies and saute well.
  2. Add turmeric, black pepper, asafoetida, coriander powder and fry well.
  3. When the vegetables become tender, turn off the flame and leave for some time until they cool down.
  4. Later blend the mixture along with tamarind pulp and salt.
  5. Grind the contents to a smooth paste by adding very little water.
