
Ingredients:
• 3 cups – Maida
• 1.5 cups – powder Sugar
• 3 – Egg yolk and 1 Egg white (reserve the balance 2 Egg whites for coating)
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• For decoration:
• Crushed cashews and cherries, half chopped
Method:
- Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
- Add in the well beaten egg.
- Add little of the flour and make a nice soft dough
- Make small balls of the dough (approx. 2 cm diameter)
- Flatten one side of the ball and keep this as the base.
- Roll the rounded side of the ball in the beaten egg white thereafter roll this into the crushed cashews.
