Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Maida
• 1.5 cups – powder Sugar
• 3 – Egg yolk and 1 Egg white (reserve the balance 2 Egg whites for coating)
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• For decoration:
• Crushed cashews and cherries, half chopped

Method:

  1. Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
  2. Add in the well beaten egg.
  3. Add little of the flour and make a nice soft dough
  4. Make small balls of the dough (approx. 2 cm diameter)
  5. Flatten one side of the ball and keep this as the base.
  6. Roll the rounded side of the ball in the beaten egg white thereafter roll this into the crushed cashews.
