Ingredients:

• Capsicums – 2
• Oil – 8 tbsp
• Mustard Seeds – a few
• Chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
• Bengal Gram flour – 3/4 cup (small dessert cup)
• Sugar – 1/4 tsp
• Salt

Method:

  1. Cut the capsicums into 1/2 inch pieces.
  2. In a pan, take oil. Add the mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add the capsicums, chilli powder, and salt.
  3. When the capsicums become soft, add the Bengal gram flour.
  4. Mix well and cover with a lid for 5-7 minutes. Keep checking occasionally.
  5. When cooked well, add the sugar.
  6. Mix well and serve hot with puri, chapati, or dal and rice.
