Ingredients:

• 3 or 4 – Capsicums
• 1 – small Onion
• 1 – tomato, cubed
• 3 tbsp – besan
• Ginger – 1 inch piece, finely chopped
• Garlic – 6 Cloves finely chopped
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
• Cumin – 1/2 tsp
• Oil as required
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil.
  2. When it is hot, add cumin and mustard seeds.
  3. When they start to splutter, add the cut onion, ginger and garlic pieces and saute them.
  4. Add tomato and capsicum, and if needed, a little water so that the capsicum is cooked.
  5. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
  6. Close the pan with a lid and let it cook for some time.
  7. When the capsicum is cooked, add besan to it, mix it properly.
  8. Close lid again and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Serve with roti or rice
