Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup – Whole meal flour
• 1/2 cup – Plain flour
• 3 tbsp – Butter
• 3 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 1 Egg – yolk
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• A few Cashewnuts or Almonds to decorate.

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar well.
  3. Add the egg yolk and cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Now add the flour and knead it into a smooth dough.
  5. Divide the dough into walnut sized balls.
  6. Flatten the portion and press a cashewnut or almond on the top.
  7. Place it on the tray.
  8. Now bake it in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 mins.
