Ingredients:

• Grated Cauliflower – 2 cups
• Mustard – 1.5 tbsp
• Tamarind pulp- 2 tbsp
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Green chilli – 6
• Red Chilli – 6
• Curry leaves – 1 sprig
• Channa dal-1 tbsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tbsp
• Vegetable oil – 2 tsp
• Turmeric – a pinch
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Microwave cauliflower for 4 mins.
  2. Grind 1 tbsp mustard to a fine paste by adding little water
  3. Heat oil in a kadai and add channa dal, urad dal, 1 tsp mustard and red chillies.
  4. Allow mustard to splutter and add curry leaves, green chillies, sugar and tamarind pulp, turmeric and boil for a couple of mins.
  5. Add cauliflower and salt and stir well until dry.
  6. Add mustard paste, remove from flame and mix well.
