Ingredients:

• 1 kg – fresh Spinach
• 1 packet – frozen puff pastry, thawed
• 250 g – Cottage cheese
• 2 Onions
• 2 tbsps – oil
• 1 tsp – ground Nutmeg
• salt and pepper
• beaten Egg to glaze

Method:

  1. Roll out the pastry thinly to a rectangle and cut into 10 cm squares.
  2. Fit the metal chopping blade and roughly chop the onions. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the onion and fry until soft. Add the spinach and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the spinach mixture to the processor bow and process for 10 seconds, and then stir in the cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Put a tbsp. of filling on each pastry square.
  4. Brush the edges with water and fold over into triangles. Brush with egg and make 2 cuts on the top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven 220 degrees C for 20 minutes, until golden.
  6. Serve hot
