
Ingredients:
• 200 g – Chicken, 2 breasts and 2 thighs of medium-size Chicken – cut into bite-size pieces
• 200 g – mushrooms, quartered, cut into 4 pieces each
• 2 tbsp – oil or Butter
• 2 tbsp – Maida flour
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – pepper
• 1 tsp – rum or sherry
• 100 g – (1/2 cup) Cream or
• For Garnishing :
• Some chopped Celery or coriander leaves.
Method:
- In a plate, micro high the maida (dry) uncovered for 2 mins. Keep aside.
- In the casserole, mix oil and chicken pieces well so that the chicken is coated with oil.
- Micro high covered for 2 mins.
- Add mushrooms and mix well. Micro high covered for 4 mins.
- Mix maida and 1 cup of water well so that no lumps remain.
- Add to the chicken-mushroom casserole.
- Add salt, pepper, rum. Micro high uncovered for 2 mins.
- Add cream or malai. Micro high uncovered for 2 mins.
- Let it stand for 2 mins.
- Sprinkle chopped celery or coriander and serve hot.
