Ingredients:

• 200 g – flour/Maida
• 2 – eggs, beaten
• 150 g – powdered Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 250 g – chopped dry fruits soaked in a little rum before-hand
• 150 g – Butter
• 1/2 tsp – baking powder

Method:

  1. Sieve the flour with baking powder.
  2. Cream butter and sugar till it becomes creamy and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs then mix with the flour.
  4. Knead it to form a smooth batter.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut out circles.
  6. Line a few pie shells with this.
  7. Fell each one with the marinated dry fruit.
  8. And seal with another layer of the dough.
  9. Prick on top with a toothpick.
  10. Bake the pies in a moderate oven for 20 minutes.
