Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Maida
• Milk of 1 Coconut
• A pinch – Food colouring
• Oil (as required) 
• 2 – eggs
• Sugar as required
• Salt as required

Method:

  1. For preparing kulkuls, take a bowl and mix in maida, coconut milk, salt and eggs.
  2. Knead the ingredients to make a dough (like chappathi).
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and keep it aside for half an hour.
  4. Make very small balls out of the dough.
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the kulkuls on low flame till is is cooked inside and becomes brown in colour.
  6. Remove the kulkuls and allow it to cool.
  7. Heat sugar and water with a little colouring till it becomes a bit thick.
  8. Pour it over the kulkuls and mix it so that it is coated evenly.
  9. Allow it to cool and store in an airtight container.
  10. Kulkuls are ready.
