
Ingredients:
• 2 – carrots, medium sized (roughly chopped)
• 1/4 cup – Milk
• 1/2 cup – water
• 1/2 medium sized – onion, finely chopped
• 4 pearls – Garlic
• 1/2 – Tomato
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• Garam Masala – a generous pinch
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Butter
• 2 tsp – Cream (for garnishing)
• Salt as required
• A few bread slices, cubed in small sizes (toasted)
Method:
- Cook chopped carrots with 1/2 a cup of water, until it becomes soft; allow it to cool.
- Heat oil in a pan, add onions, garlic with a pinch of salt and saute for few minutes.
- Then add tomato and saute till it becomes mushy.
- Now add cooked carrots and onion tomato mixture to a blender and grind it to a smooth paste.
- Heat a pan, add butter and the ground mixture; fry for a minute or two.
- Now add milk, pepper powder, garam masala powder, required salt and bring it to a short boil.
- Switch off and garnish with cream.
- Serve hot or warm with garlic bread or soup sticks.
