Ingredients:

• 4-5 – Burger buns/Pav
• 2 cups – Boiled and mashed Potatoes
• 1/2 – Onion chopped
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – dry Mango powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 sprigs – Coriander leaves
• 1/4 cup – skinless Peanuts
• 1/2 cup – Nylon sev

Method:

  1. Prepare a mixture of water, garam masala, turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, dry mango powder in a bowl.
  2. In a pan, add 2 tsp oil and when hot, add cumin seeds. As they splutter add the prepared mixture to it.
  3. As it cooks, add mashed potatoes and mix well.
  4. Let the spices get incorporated and then add salt to taste.
  5. Add cilantro and mix again.
  6. Fry skinned peanuts in 1 tsp oil for some time and add salt and 1/4 tsp red chilli powder to it.
  7. Cut one burger bun in half.
  8. Add potato mixture.
  9. Then top with roasted peanuts.
  10. Now add nylon sev on top
  11. Dabeli filling is complete now.
  12. In a pan add butter and place the stuffed burger.
  13. Once golden on one side flip slowly and cook other side.
  14. Dabeli is ready to serve.
  15. Add any chutneys you like and serve.
